Circularity already in motion

Explore how Aurevium and Infinite Athletic have transformed sport waste, recycled
materials and circular textile ideas into real products, collaborations and community
programs.

From waste challenge to textile solution

A partner starts with a material challenge, a waste stream, a product need or a circularity
objective. Aurevium then helps define the right route: collection, material
transformation, yarn, fabric, garment, circular program or ingredient-brand
collaboration.
The objective is always the same: turn selected sport-related waste or recycled material
routes into textile value that can be used, understood and communicated responsibly.

Infinite Athletic

Infinite Athletic: from used tennis strings to circular performance garments

Infinite Athletic is the origin of Aurevium. It demonstrated that sport waste could become more than a symbolic sustainability story — it could become part of a real textile and garment route.

Challenge

Racket sports generate technical waste streams, including used strings, that are rarely visible to players once discarded.

Infinite Athletic began with a simple question:

What if sport waste could return to sport as a new product?

Waste / material input

Used tennis strings and sport-related material streams connected to racket sports.

Tecnifibre / XLoop

Tecnifibre / XLoop: connecting racket sports with circular textile innovation

The Tecnifibre / XLoop collaboration shows how a sport brand can connect circular material innovation with a meaningful product story.

Challenge

Sport brands are under pressure to reduce waste, improve material responsibility and create products with credible sustainability value.

The challenge was to connect racket-sport waste with a new textile application in a way that was technically feasible and easy to explain.

Waste / material input

Racket-sport related waste and recycled material routes connected to the XLoop concept.

Newex

Newex demonstrates how Aurevium’s circular textile logic can extend beyond racket sports into outdoor and technical performance contexts.

Challenge

Outdoor and adventure-sport products require materials that combine comfort, durability and credibility.

The challenge was to explore circular material routes for products used in more demanding sport environments.

Lacoste

Lacoste: from tournament tubes to ball kids polos at Roland-Garros

A project connecting iconic tennis events, collected ball tubes and circular textile transformation into polos worn by ball kids at Roland-Garros.

Challenge

Major tennis events generate large volumes of sport-related waste, including ball tubes and packaging used during tournaments.

The challenge was to show that this waste could be more than an operational by-product. It could become part of a visible circular textile story connected to the same sport, the same event culture and the next generation of players.

Waste / material input

Ball tubes collected from major tennis events, including Roland-Garros and the Rolex Paris Masters.

Why this case matters

This case makes circularity visible at one of the most symbolic moments in tennis: the court itself.

The waste generated around the game is transformed into a product worn by the ball kids, creating a powerful link between tournament operations, material circularity, young athletes and the sport’s future.
